Raiders Fly Away in Baltimore

The Raiders fell short of Amazing last week, almost pulling through on a comeback, in which, they were down 18 at beginning of 4th quarter. Carson Palmer threw 3TD passes, in just the fourth qtr. alone. This Raiders team is gellin right now, and if they get going, we will see some high scores.

Look for Baltimore (6-2) to make a statement early on in this game, but watch Ray Lewis, Be a emmotional player as always. We know the Ravens will take the hit. Both QBs have been liberal with the ball as of late, what we use to call butterfingers. Carson has a QB rating of 85.6, while Flacco on the other hand has an 85.0 passer rating. I think the Raiders will show their beast Marcel Reece. He will show up big today and bring the Raiders to Victory!

KEY PLAYERS TO WATCH: Marcel Reece and Denarius Moore

CP3: Carson Palmer is a Leader

Should Starting Carson Palmer, be seen as a weakness, or a positive? I believe, Carson Palmer is in no way sub-standard. In the 2012 Season so far he has shown poise, leadership, and game awareness like a true veteran player should. He knows what is expected of him while on the field with his team mates.

His play during this last Sundays win over the Kansas City Chiefs was impeccable. His first pass was picked off by former Raider Stanford Routt. After this turn over, he would only make wise decisions from here on out!

Carson Palmer with the Media Thursday Sept 6th

Carson Palmer with the Media

Carson Palmer On San Diego: “It’s a good unit. Defensively they’ve looked really good on film in the preseason. They played well against us last year in the finale. Their offense can score a ton of points. There are a lot of things to worry about. They’ve got a new coordinator. Week one you never know exactly what you’re going to see. You’ve got to be ready for everything. We’re not real, real comfortable going into this. We’ve had a great start to the week, we’re working extremely hard, and we’re going to go in and we know we have to play our best football offensively to come out with the win.”

25 Under-the-Radar Rookies Who Are Quietly Dominating the 2012 Preseason

25 Under-the-Radar Rookies Who Are Quietly Dominating the 2012 Preseason

Andrew Luck has lived up to the hype. Robert Griffin III has had his ups and downs. Ryan Tannehill earned a starting gig earlier than expected. Even Justin Blackmon has looked good despite missing some camp because of contract issues.

We are not here to talk about those guys—the ones who have been in the limelight or close to it. Here are 25 relatively unheralded rookies who have made an impression this preseason.

Rod Streater

Organized team activities were all about Juron Criner. Everything since then has been Rod Streater, at least as far as rookie wide receivers go.

Streater has sizzled thus far this preseason, catching 13 passes for 108 yards. He has yet to make a huge play—his longest catch is for 18 yards—but the undrafted rookie has been the surprise of camp for the Raiders, who find themselves with a perpetual glut of talent at the receiver position even after trading Louis Murphy away.

Streater and Criner sit behind Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford on the depth chart right now—assuming all three can stay healthy for more than 30 seconds at a time—but Streater has made a strong push to get on the field as the team's fourth wideout.

Not too shabby for an undrafted rookie out of Temple.
